Mandy from Moor2Shore approached us to help with her Moor2Shore website. Traffic to the website was low and she was concerned that it wasn't easy to use and was confusing for visitors. Ultimately, they were looking to generate more leads and increase awareness of their business.
In addition, Mandy had received a report from a national website and directory providing detailing numerous issues with the website in regard to search engine optimisation.
We spent an initial period of time reviewing the website as well as undertaking a keyword and competitor research analysis. This enabled to understand the terms we needed to use and how we needed to restructure the website to provide an easy to use platform for visitors.
There was no need to create a new website, as being WordPress, we were able to update and work with the theme to make the necessary changes.
We work to restructure the home page and the services page(s) with clear navigation and language. We ensure the meta data and content was optimised for the language discovered in the keyword research and we introduced a Get A Quote button and page accesible from all over the website.
In addition we implemented Google Search Console to ensure keyword tracking could be analysed and optimised in the future.
In the 2 months that the updates have been live the following improvements have been noted:
- 72% increase in traffic
- 28% increase in organic search traffic
- Get a quote page is the most popular after the home page
- the website has a 92% health score on SEM Rush.
