This is an interactive exhibit that tells the story of the sinking of the Metta Catharina, a Dutch ship which in the 18th came into Plymouth Sound in the to shelter from a storm. Unfortunately, the storm worsened and the ship came adrift, sinking not far from Mount Edgcumbe House 7 Country Park.
This project consisted of a 3 minute animation that tells the story of the sinking and an interactive exhibition that allows the user to explore the finds from the ship that have so far been excavated. interactive exhibit allows you to explore the ship layout and the cargo and learn more about that fateful day.
